Stunning beach with no traces of mankind on the shoreline. You feel like you have stepped back in time to see the coast as it has been for centuries. You need to come at low tide to make the most of it. As the tide comes in it will cut you off from the wonders down the far end of the beach where there are more arches, windows, caves and tunnels to explore. I paid thousands of dollars to go to Arches National Park in Utah and though I truly loved that experience this one is different being on a beach rather than the desert but equally if not more magical. Check the weather before coming. If the wind is up you will get sandblasted in your face.

Well worth the walk. You must must must walk the full length of the beach or you are missing out. Going at low tide will mean you will have the time to do that. Straight ahead from the path entering into the beach, are the seals. Please respect them. They are everywhere, so keep your eyes, ears and nose alert. We went to check out a cave quite a distance away from the seals and found another lurking in there. So we checked before moving into other caves. We found a dead baby shark and a washed up jellyfish along the beach. There are magical rock pools so colourful with life. It’s just amazing. Make sure you check the wind before going. Leave only footprints and if you can get up early enough you can even catch a sunrise.

Gorgeous. Pristine nature with no signs of mans activity anywhere. To get the best experience go at low tide because although there are the two beautiful arches in the sea there are more on the beach if you walk down to the left as well as caves and interesting rock formations but be careful with the caves as sometimes seals are sleeping in there and you don’t want to distress them by blocking their access to the sea by stepping between it and them. Also check weather conditions before going. When it blows hard here it is like a sandstorm and painful to any exposed skin. The sand is powder soft and somewhere between west coast black sand and white tropical beach sand. Very peaceful, remote, rugged and worth the trip.

Beautiful beach with a striking island formation including a tunnel. Among other things, two of the well-known Windows standard backgrounds were made here (woman jogging in front of this island formation and the view from a cave on the beach of this island formation)

Gorgeous beach and a nice walk through farmland to get there. Saw seal pups playing in the pools and the arches are impressive. Quite windy but cool to watch the sand dance across the beach

Great day out. Definitely make sure it’s low tide when you go if possible if you want to do the full loop circular walk . Can’t walk along beach if high tide

Insanely good beach. Plan a full day for this place. There is so much to discover and marvel at. The sand is also very pleasant and super clean.

We had the most amazing afternoon at the beach watching the seal pups and enjoying the sunset. Definitely make sure it’s low tide. Beautiful caves to explore along the beach too! Everyone was very respectful with the seals. Make sure you bring a head torch if watching the sunset as you will walk back in the dark through the farm. Such a great experience!!

Went there at low tide the baby seals playing in the water are awesome and the beach is really breathtaking!
