Beautiful beautiful ?????
Definitely worth the drive, and view from the top of the lighthouse stairs. There's a longdrop toilets at the bottom, freedom camping with rubbish and toilet facilities at Ngawi, on the way there, or camp on the coastal edge, half way along Palliser Bay in front of the Camp Ground (which has a great cafe). There's a single toilet there. Be Self Contained as a preference.
Stop your car on this point to see huge seal colony:) and then continue to lighthouse
262 steps up to the lighthouse. Worth the trip but don’t look down when climbing the steps as that’s a bit scary! Lots of seals around the rocks early morning and late afternoon. Saw dolphins playing in the bay. Pinnacles are amazing and recommend viewing from the riverbed. Take a water past the lighthouse to see the small water fall.
Very picturesque. 250 steep steps to the lighthouse. Better to be careful, it's pretty windy. Case toilet on site.
5 star brother
Incredibly great place! The sea was wild, the waves can be watched for hours as they crash against the rocks. The absolute highlight, however, are the countless seals that make themselves comfortable on and behind the stones on the coast and do not let themselves be disturbed :) We saw a lot of seals! An absolutely beautiful, beautiful experience! As a precaution, we parked our campervan in front of the gravel road and walked to the lighthouse. In itself, a trip by van would have been feasible, the gravel road was mostly nicely developed, but did not regret the walk along the coast next to the seals :)
So beautiful. Gravel road but very good. Seals are before the lighthouse on a flat rock formation. Also along the beach opposite the lighthouse car park area.
I can only recommend Unfortunately no seals were to be seen, the view is still wonderful ?
Amazing!! The most besutiful place I‘ve ever seen in my life. Just driving down the road is a blessing. Great waves, seals, beaches, ... Must do
