We loved staying here! The kitchen and bathrooms are extremely clean. There are washers that take a $2+$1 coin for a wash. The beach is a nice walk away (with some incline). The views on the road between here and Raglan are amazing.

A fantastic campsite! A family atmosphere with clean and well-maintained facilities. No cell service within the campsite. The beach is a 15-minute walk away! Paid Wi-Fi - $5/24h. Washing machine $3. I highly recommend it for a peaceful nature getaway.

Very lovely hidden spot with a beautiful dramatic coast nearby. Hot showers, kitchen, laundry, toilets. Rubbish has to be recycled or taken with you. There was no signal with One NZ.

Such a cute campground. The host was really welcoming. Just a 20min walk to the most stunning black beach. With a nice spot to watch the sunset. There is a kitchen, toilets/showers and laundry room.

Fantastic campsite! The host is extremely kind and welcoming. The campsite and facilities are extremely well-maintained. It's possible to see a magnificent sunset on the black sand beach from this campsite. You'll have to navigate some areas with power lines, but supports have been installed to make crossing easier. Alternatively, you can stop along the way or not; the sunset will still be magnificent.

Este lugar fue tan bueno que extendimos nuestra estancia! Realmente limpias instalaciones! Es solo 5 km de carretera de barro hacia abajo hasta el sitio. Definitivamente revise la playa de arena negra al lado de ella. Es 100% vale la pena el recorrido. De hecho se hace más ocupado de lo que pensabas.

¡Qué lugar hermoso para acampar! Nos encantó totalmente este lugar escondido! Necesitas conducir 15km (tendrá +30minutes) una carretera de barro que no está en perfecto estado. Esta carretera no es adecuada para grandes coches de camping y no te recomendaría conducirlo cuando esté oscuro o húmedo. El motorcamp tiene baños de agua, bbq, cocina y ducha caliente. También hay una hermosa carretera de caminata a la playa. Cuida de este lugar para que no lo pierdas :) sin señal de teléfono.

Difficult to access - 15 km from Gravel road coming from Raglan but the detour is worth it, it's a little corner of paradise. You will find an equipped kitchen, fridges available and clean toilets. Direct access to the beach by walking about ten minutes.
