A very average caravan park. Not very well maintained, we were here 12 mths ago … nothing has been done to improve facilities, needs garden work , needs a repaint… plus the disgraceful torn Australian flag at the entrance is so sad. There is no policing of e-scooters or bikes as stated in the park rules. They are allowed to run loose anywhere. I won’t be returning….

Under new management 2021. The office ladies were lovely Nd very very helpful. Trisha was exceptional to deal with over the phone and in person. Quieter side of the Island and very nice park. We stayed 2 nights in our caravan. Quite a few permanent residents, but not one negative thing to say about this place. We will be back again and again.

Stop for one night Facilities are outdated but ok. You won't be greeted by the many older long-term campers and you won't feel welcome. All of our food was stolen from the fridge overnight. Staff didn't feel responsible.

After reading previous reviews I was a little hesitant to book at this place. I’m one of those types who have a short fuse for rude service and over priced accommodation but I’m glad I gave this place the benefit of the doubt. From the first phone call to check for vacancies to check in the staff where extremely friendly (like visiting old friends) and the price for pitching a tent we found reasonable. The park was very quiet so would suit older holiday makers or families perfectly with a cute little putt putt course, tennis court and shade covered pool. I was impressed in the morning that the sheltered bbq area supplied kettles and toasters as an added bonus to the hot plates and wash facilities.. Was great to be able to have a coffee before heading out. TV room was way outdated so we did not use it. Refurb would do wonders to that part of the park. Toilet ammenities where clean and tidy. The spot we were allocated was a bit open to full view of ‘long term residents’ and one residents flag pole rattled in the breeze all night keeping us awake. No fault of the park management and we did not mention on departure. Apart from a few minor points I would definitely recommend this park for a budget stay in a beautiful location only steps away from the most beautiful beach. Thank you to the staff and management. We will be back soon.

A rather unfriendly staff. The location is great and the walk to the beach is only about 5 minutes. The kitchen is large and allows for easy cooking. The pool, mini golf and tennis also offer a lot of fun. The showers and toilets are very old but somewhat clean.

Quite a good campground , staff isn‘t very friendly, facilities are okay. It‘s like a 5-10 min walk to the beach, which is fine. Kinda overpriced for getting a site squeezed between big camper busses

As all other campgrounds north of Brisbane were full, we called this campsite and they booked us in. They e-mailed me all the info so I could arrive after the office closed which is always appreciated, and the amenities were basic but fine. Probably our least favourite campground as we were almost parked on top of eachother and the entire camping was asleep around 7pm. 3/4 of the camping is reserved for seasonal guests also. Good choice for people looking for a place to watch tv in their RV or for people looking for a last minute place to stop. Wouldn't be my choice for a nice vacation.

Ok but reception closes super early as does pool etc.

The site is close to the beach. The facilities are a little dated but fine. However, we felt completely unwelcome. The reception wasn't particularly friendly, and none of the permanent campers even greeted us.
