Travel time April/May: Registration at the harbormaster's office (until 5 pm), after that by phone. Very friendly, but despite its proximity to Auckland, not very popular in the off-season (a total of 1 motorhome and 2 caravans). The campsite is further south than the app indicates. NZD 35 per person is reasonable for one night.

Friendly staff, quiet location and awesome view on auckland. Just think 35/person is expensive (showers 2$).

Best place to visit Auckland!!! Just 10’ ferry to CBD. Showers and WC (not working from 6-8:30 am!) Only one thing negative: the traffic to get there. So better if you are heading north.

Very quiet camping place, we arrived here first day of our trip. Friendly lady at the checkin, toilets were very clean. Very easy to get to the city center using the ferry. Spatious spots. We could check out when we wanted to since it was not so busy. Would recommend for a quick visit to Auckland 😌

This is the PERFECT spot if you want to visit Auckland and need a place for your campervan/motorhome. Also perfect of you hired a van and need to get things sorted before returning it in Auckland. Wonderful view of the skyline. We visited early December and stayed two nights. 1st night 2 other campers, 2nd night 1 other. Facilities are clean, 2$ for hot shower, also laundry available. The ferry to downtown Auckland literally starts at the campground and takes only 10 mins. 100% recommend!!

Kaunis näkymä, mutta jos nurmikkoalue on suljettu, olet kirjaimellisesti pysäköity keskellä pysäköintialueella muiden autojen ja linja-autojen kanssa, jotka tulevat ja menevät koko ajan, mikä tekee siitä kalliimman ei erityisen mukavan tai rauhallisen ympäristön.

Yöpyminen 1 yö, verkkosivusto kuulostaa hyvin tiukalta, mutta täytin online-lomakkeen edellisenä päivänä ja he veloittivat minulle vain 30 dollaria (ei 40 dollaria lyhyen ilmoituksen vuoksi), eivät veloittaneet 30 dollaria ylimääräistä pääsyä suihkuun / pesutilaan, mutta tilat ovat edelleen käytössä. Kauniit näkymät kaupunkiin ja 8 dollaria aikuisten hintaan keskustaan yhdellä tavalla. Henkilökunta on erittäin mukava ja yöllä on turvatarkastuksia. Vain yksi toinen leirintäalue, kun jäin, niin hiljainen paikka, joka on niin lähellä CBD: tä!

Jos haluat mennä sinne viikonloppuna, toimisto ei ole avoinna - mutta voit puhua turvallisuudesta kirjautua sisään.

En ymmärrä muita kommentteja. Tämä sivusto on todella mukava : on hyvä näkymä kaupungin keskustasta, kylpyhuoneet ja suihkut ovat hyvin puhtaita, henkilökunta on niin suloinen. Ja se on myös hyvin rauhallinen ja hiljainen. Hinnat ovat kohtuullisia ja se on vain $ 2 kuumille suihkuille (mutta kylmät ovat ilmaisia) kuten muilla leirintäalueilla.
