Kaunis rauhallinen paikka, jossa on runsaasti tilaa. Järven puolella leirintäalue tarjoaa upeat näkymät järvelle. Paljon lintuelämää. Tällä hetkellä ei juoksevaa vettä, mutta DOC-verkkosivusto tekee tämän hyvin selväksi varauksen yhteydessä. Kylpyhuoneet olivat hyviä 2 uudella pitkällä pudotuksella sekä vanhemmat olemassa olevat tilat. Kaikki olivat puhtaita ja siistejä.

Showed up here around 9pm. Was the only campervan. Didn't check the toilets but looked like 1 long drop set of 2 toilets. Had no cell service so went just a bit down the road to Guy Roe Reserve, where there are showers you can pay for as well. However the long drop toilets here are gross and full of flies, so pick your poison!

Paikka on mukava, on paljon huoneita (olimme itse asiassa ainoa). Näkymä järvelle on mukava, ja voit tehdä hieman kävellä järven ympäri aamulla.

Ainoa asia, joka on hienoa, on näkymä järvelle ja yksityisyydelle. Vessat ovat käyttämättömiä, koska hullu määrä kuolleita ja eläviä kärpäsiä.

Paikka on erittäin hiljainen, loistava yksityisyyttä ja mukavaa unta. On paljon paikkoja. Kuitenkin, ei suihku ja kauhea wc, ne olivat täynnä kuolleita kärpäsiä. Mietin, milloin oli viimeinen kerta, että ne puhdistettiin.

Barriers are closed in the evening. You can't get in without a booking. Went there completely for free, unfortunately it wasn't clear from the apps.

Cute little campsite, not too much privacy but nice lake views. Went for a morning swim - stayed on the long weekend and still plenty of space. The ash road site further down the road has more trees surroundings with the lake views. Would have been louder with a lot more people .... But would probably stay there for the trees next time! very friendly camp manager :)

Arrived at 5 p.m. before dark. We realize that to pay you have to go to the DOC office located in Rotorua. The site is nice but the payment method is binding.
