Here is a possible review: We had a very nice time at Rakaia River Holiday Park

We stayed here one night on our way back to Christchurch. We found it to be a well appointed stop. Best showers we experienced in the South Isand nz, nightly rate for a motorhome was also cheap. Amenities were clean and kitchen area although gets busy accommodation 3 groups cooking at a time, it’s pretty well equipped with cooking utensils and also has a sandwich press which was great. Bbq area looked very inviting, however we didn’t have anything to cook on it. We loved the complete privacy.

Not bad place if u need a stopover before returning to christchurch.. hedge on both sides gives you full privacy. Showers were old & clean with spider webs in hidden spots.. desperately need deep cleaning.. lots of dead mosquitoes on bathroom bench.. a bit scary coz i think only few sites were occupied when we stayed.. barbecue area bins were overflowing with rubbish .. sadly, wifi didn’t work at all Phone signal was fine

Needed somewhere to stay for a night inbetween Tekapo & Akaroa and so stopped here. $37pn for a solo with a small van for a powered site is pretty steep, up there with the most I’ve paid in 3 months in NZ! The sites themselves are nicely sheltered by bushes either side. But the facilities feel a little old & uncared for. The bathroom sinks were full of dust & dirt that had come through the vents! The shower floor was a little the same though the water was hot. Feels overpriced for what it is

Erittäin mukava paikka ystävällisiä omistajia. On mukava lasten leikkipaikka, vankka WiFi ja mukavia paikkoja yksityisyyttä. ehdottomasti suositella!

Loistava leirintäalue viime yönä ennen matkaa Christchurchiin. Paljon tilaa, yksityisyyttä, varjoa. Tilat, kuten vessat, kuumat suihkut, keittiön puhdistus. Ei tarvinnut odottaa mitään. Super ystävällinen henkilökunta. Pelasimme jopa mini-golfia. Paljon säiliöitä roskien kierrätykseen. Suosittelen!

Erinomainen paikka viettää lomaa tai pari päivää. Olemme kulkeneet matkalla kotiin ja valitettavasti vain yöpynyt 1 yö. Puhdas, siisti, hyvin hoidettu ja hyvin hoidettu. Tilat tarkistetaan ja puhdistetaan säännöllisesti koko päivän ajan. Henkilökunta erittäin avulias. Tulisi varmasti takaisin.

Fab spot, mukavat varjoiset kentät, kuumat suihkut ja erinomaiset aktiviteetit perheille. Erinomainen ensimmäinen pysäkki eteläisellä reitillä.
