Beautiful location right on the beach. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen) are a bit old, but clean. The atmosphere is somewhat junkyard-like, including cats and dogs. Rather expensive for what you get.

Only stayed for one night to go to the gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers but loved it here. Friendly and full of character and charm. The most wonderful sunset - go and sit on a log on the beach and watch the light fade with a kingfisher or two in the background. Facilities old and basic but clean. Hot shower included in the price. Manager couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful especially when my awning blew off. Beach is shingle but good cycle tracks nearby and got a decent dog walk in

Kauhistuttava paikka. Rohkeampi kuin leirintäalue. Tilat ovat vanhoja ja turmeltuneita. Uskomaton. Suihku tippuu. Maan ja meren välillä on autopaikka. Kivinen ranta, jossa on paljon kuollutta puuta. Ei näkemystä, ei mielihyvää. Halpa kaikessa merkityksessä. Positiiviset luokitukset on annettava ihmisille, jotka ovat menettäneet arvot. Pysy kaukana.

Upea paikka, hyvä vanha kiwi leirintäalue, puhtaat tilat ja erittäin ystävällinen hallinta.

Varmasti tulee takaisin. Vähän vanhemmat tilat, mutta suihkut ovat kuumia. Keittiö on myös hyvä. Darrell on niin viileä, hän satunnaisesti antoi meille yön hänen karavaani vain 20$pp. Rakastin sitä

As others have said not the most modern ofsites but clean and quiet with super helpful site manager and friendly permanent residents. So relaxing we stayed an extra day.

Well maintained campsite and welcoming staff :) felt very safe as a solo female camper!

Owner is super nice! The campsite also costs only € for 2 people, for a pitch without electricity. Showers included and the kitchen is not bad either :)

I stayed one night in an unpowered site by myself and paid for the night. Hot showers are included, the water has a good pressure. The kitchen was handy but didn’t manage to find the campsite fridge so not sure if there is one. The beach is literally one step away from the campsite, there’s a cafe onsite so you can sip your coffee on the beach in the morning…
