Brilliant Glow worms, so so pretty. Park before the glow worms on the side of the road and walk down. It was so beautiful even in a little rain!
Were there at 5:45 am, so way too late. Could see then still though, however very weak. Must be amazing at 10pm trust the Google maps marker, park a bit before
Great :-)))
Beautiful place. Worth a stop at evening/night. You can drive past the marked position at the end of the road is something link a campsite where you can park or turn around.
See you there at night, otherwise we can not see anything. The place is dark but not enough (and the worm sleep day can be ;-))
Yes!! They’re there! A 30’ wall of them! If you come across a house with a white tape across the road, do not cross — just go back and try a different way through. Trust the google maps position. Just keep driving the gravel road in the general direction.
Absolutely amazing! Millions of glow worms in the mud walls. You need to travel down a gravel road about 3km. You’ll know you’re there when you see the big mud walls on either side on the road. Drive straight through and turn around on the gravel (there is a river there so be careful). Park the car and then walk back through. It is extremely dark so make sure you have a torch/phone if need be. Absolutely spectacular and it’s free!
If you arrive to a ramp you are on the wrong road. Take the other one on the opposit side (left)
There was thousands of them. Park up and walk along the road where it becomes narrow with cliffs either side. Leave torches off and let the glow worms guide you
Awesome nature show. We leave the car where the map marks and then we walk. All the way to the river is full of glowworms. It's like looking at a starry sky.
