Got there about 5.30 pm, 3 campers already there. You have to park between the signs, spaces for 4. We had to wait till the walkers moved their car to park in the last spot. Not flat. Very calm and no noise at night. Clean toilets and sink.

Wow! Great free campground! Just under the Mt. Manaia where the hike begins. Very quiet, you can hear kiwi there (I had no luck to see them). Felt safe as female solo traveler 😊

Loved This place! Basic with one loo but comfortable enough. Quiet and peaceful at the base of the hike. The club next door is so friendly and welcoming to visitors, we went in for drink and game of pool. Fish and chip shop 10 min walk away was decent too. Overall great free camp for one night

Parking in front of the Mount. Approx. 4 véhicules. Quiet and nice view. Toilets 24h/24h. Clean but no lights. Max 1 night stay. Nice pub near by.

Täydellinen paikka hyvä wc. Ongelmana on, että on valonheitin, joka on päällä koko yön

Erittäin viileä paikka!! Olimme yksin yöksi, emme kokeilleet vieressä baaria, mutta se tuntui erittäin ystävälliseltä. Kylpyhuoneet ovat siistejä ja avoinna koko yön, ei roskia voi paikan päällä. Seuraavana päivänä teimme Mount Manaia vaellus ja se oli uskomatonta! Lyhyesti: loistava paikka aloittaa vaellus ahaha ja kaunis näkymä

Erittäin hiljainen, ei mitään viereisessä pubissa. Täydellinen sijainti, jos teet huipulla kävellä aamulla. Ei nimettyjä lahtia vain pitää mahtua ajoneuvoihin kahden merkin välillä. Helposti 3 autoa. WC: t paikan päällä, erittäin puhdas ja avoin 24/7

We enjoyed this spot. It is closed to the road, cars passing by through the night didn't bother us at all. We were spoiled with euphonious sounds coming from the nearby club. Two picnic benches and clean toilets. Our stay here was concluded with a very scenic morning walk up Mt. Manaia.
