Absolutely not worth the price. Very limited gardens, the ones in the city are incredibly better compared to these. The castle is not a castle but a mansion, created by a family who wanted to show their great life and then failed. The family drama is good nevertheless. If you come from Europe do not come, very disappointing.

Loved visiting the castle and the beautiful grounds! The gardens are magical and the castle it self is interesting! The intricate carving on the walls and ceilings are amazing. Was a great, relaxing self tour with a great coffee and cake in the cafe afterwards. I loved learning about the history of the place and the people that have owned it. Visit if you are interested in history and learning. Excellent location for some photos of the stunning view. Early bird prices are best get there before 9.30am!

Well worth a visit. Stunning grounds and gardens. Nice displays inside with the history of the castle as well. All very well preserved. We had dinner here which was the nicest feed of the trip so far and a neat novelty

Overpriced. To see the gardens, for the castle and the gardens. Yes the view is nice, but the view is nice all over the mountain, yes the garden is nice. It can have all the history you want, but I don't think it's worth the entrance price.

After all the mountains, lakes, rivers, camping grounds, etc it was great to see some history and architecture. I enjoyed the visit and it is impressive what the family Baker has done to preserve this place. Even at a cloudy day it was a nice visit. Get a hot chocolate or coffee at the Ballroom Café afterwards. ;)

Booked to stay the night in the lodge accomodation and thus got unlimited entry to the castle for free. Our deal included dinner and drinks in the castle at night which was a definite highlight of the trip. Well worth it.
