jatkuvat autot koko yön ja ihmiset vetävät autoni vieressä, vaikka koko pysäköinti oli ilmainen. Olin täysin yksin yksin naispuolisena matkustajana ja minulla ei ollut puhelinsignaalia. Piti vaihtaa toiseen vapauden leirintäalueeseen klo 2 yöllä, koska auto ajoi monipyöräisiä ympyröitä parkkipaikan ympäri, pysähtyi joka kierroksella autoni takana ja haukkui. Pahin leirintäalueen kokemus ja ei tuntenut oloaan turvalliseksi!

Toilet Out of order No internet signal Nice beach but we didn’t sleep in this place

A constant stream of cars going back and forth all night, hiding behind a specific tree looking for something specific? You never know. It was really scary for a solo woman; I didn't sleep a wink, I was alone at the campsite. Especially since a car decided to park right next to me at 3 a.m., as if trying to force me out (there were no other cars and plenty of space). Anyway… avoid it.

Nice location, safe from the wind and quiet. 3 campervan seats and 1 for tents. Separated from small hills that leaves a very pleasant privacy during a quiet night by the sea. Toilets, tap and toilet papers on site. No telephone reception. Beautiful beach against the bottom!

Beautiful beach and cliffs at sunset. Level pitch and very quiet night. Great views of Mt Taranaki on the road in. Toilets good but as others have said, take a torch!

We pulled in at 4:30pm and saw 6 campervans. We didn’t want to break the rules so moved on. Beautiful site though.

Nice spot by the beach, didn’t feel spooky. There was no service, the toilets where clean but dark so take a head torch even in the day. The sign says 3 vehicles max, but there is space for a few more.

We travelled as a couple with a dog, in winter, maybe that made a difference... We were a bit spooked and unsure if going to this spot because of the previous reviews.. but we still tried it out and it has been fine with us. We arrived at 8pm, maybe 2 cars drove in&out around at 9/10pm, but nothing else "weird". Friendly walkers the next morning. No phone signal.

Kaunis auringonlasku mustalla hiekkarannalla, mutta nolla puhelinsignaalia. WC: t olivat auki, kun saavuimme, mutta ne oli lukittu klo 7.30 ja eivät silti olleet auki klo 8.00 seuraavana aamuna.. Se sanoo itsensä sisältynyt täällä, mutta siellä on ruohopakkaus, jossa on merkki ei-itsensä sisältyvistä ajoneuvoista, joten vetäydyimme tänne nukkumisvaunussa ja meillä ei ollut ongelmia. Hyvä paikka, jos aiot mennä Egmontiin seuraavana päivänä. saavuimme sinne noin klo 5.00 paikalle ja muutama auto ilmestyi, mutta jouduttiin jättämään, koska se oli täynnä
