Only 4 spots so arrive early, we stayed one night late April and were the 3rd spot at around 4pm! All 4 full by 7pm. Quiet location, felt safe, police were around on the morning but no bother they seemed to be checking things were quiet? Robo toilet other end of the car park, open during daylight hours. Nice reserve and bike tracks nearby. Good view of Kapiti Island

Great place to stay, very calm and quiet during the night (even on a saturday night). Locals were friendly and had a chat. We had a stunning sunset and saw some beautiful birds. There was a clean toilet which even played music haha.

Very lovely campsite with a clean robo-toilet nearby! The toilet appeared to be closed after 8pm.

Pretty cool spot, decent toilets. Only problem, some local kids came up to us to tell us that at 8pm people would come and ask us for money to stay on the pitch. Of course it's false and it was meant to scare us, but we left because we didn't want to be bothered and disturbed during the evening.

Hyvin puhdas paikka. Saavuimme klo 6pm ja se oli tyhjä. 4 paikkaa ilmaiseksi Campersite. Ja vessat ovat sisäänkäynnissä.

Hieman ruma ehkä, mutta vapauden leirintäalueen jälkeen ympäri Uuden-Seelannin 8 viikkoa, tämä oli suosikkipaikkani! Jäin kahdesti - kerran helmikuun lopussa ja sitten jälleen huhtikuun alussa. helmikuussa saavuin klo 1 ja 4 paikkaa olivat täynnä klo 5; huhtikuussa oli vielä vapaita tiloja koko yön. On ehdottomasti upea kävellä katsomassa joen, suistoa ja sitten merta vain hiekkadyynien toisella puolella. Kapiti-saaren takana olevat auringonlaskut ovat epätodellisia. rakastan sitä täällä niin paljon ! 1 yö vain surullisesti

Hyvä ja ehkä parempi vaihtoehto on Otaki Beach.
