Saavuimme keskiviikkona iltapäivällä ja olimme ainoat siellä. Erittäin hiljainen, yksi vastaanotto baari, jossa on Spark, jota voidaan käyttää vain paljain välttämättömyyksiin. WC: t toimivat, mutta likaiset. Kuitenkin oli puhdas ja ilmainen (!) kuuma suihku, jossa oli yksityinen kuutio. Loistava ja tuhat pluspistettä. roskakori oli saatavilla. Ei outoja tai halkeamia.

Came here on a Friday afternoon. The toilets were alright and it was quiet but looked a bit rough. As soon as we opened the door it absolutely stunk! Not sure if it was the toilets or what? But really bad smell. Wouldn’t want any windows or doors open. Then saw the review about noise across the river and always worry about weekends. Ended up leaving and going to Little Waipa which was huge clean and beautiful.

I came on a Thursday night and it was fine. A ute came.around midnight and parked next to me with the engine on. When i looked throught the window, they moved a bit further and switched off the engine and the lights. With all the comments on other freecamps, I didn't feel so safe but the spot is great with hot shower ! So I would still recommend it. Just lock your van while you sleep.

A stunning spot, with hot shower and a clean toilet. Quite a bit of space, only 3 other campers when we were there. Unfortunately there were some hoons at Bulmers Landing on the other side of the lake playing loud music and doing burn outs to 4.30am. It could easily have been our campground they chose though. I dont think this is a high priority for the police, however it might help if the council put in some speed bumps? We stayed on a Friday night. Might be worse Friday and Saturday?

Beautiful location. A few other campers. We sent a very peaceful and enjoyable night here.

Kaunis paikka, mutta suosittu ripustaa ulos nuorille. Jäin perjantai-iltana. Äänekäs musiikki myöhään, riitelemässä, ja 2am koputtaa ovelleni, jota en avannut. Yksi auto loppui polttoaineesta. Sitten erikseen, kaveri, jolla oli ruuvipäällysteitä, saapui klo 5.30 yrittää varastaa suihkun akku. Pahin leiriytymiskokemukseni koskaan. Näkymä on viehättävä. Se oli onnellinen, kunnes pimeys putosi.

Kaunis paikka joen rannalla. Muutamia vanteita siellä ja koirat ja lapset iloisesti leikkivät järvellä. Mutta ihmiset olivat kunnioittavia ja ei musiikkia tai melua. kunnolliset perusvapaat ja hyvät suihkut. Loistava paikka. Ei valtaa.

Rakastin tätä paikkaa! Kiireinen ja selvästi paikka paikalliset rakastavat viikonloppuna, mutta pidimme tästä energiasta. kuumat suihkut ja wc. Ei hyvä datapalvelu.

Olin täällä pari viikkoa sitten ja nauttinut meidän oleskelua. Puhdas wc ja jopa ilmainen kuuma aurinko suihku. Oli pari perhettä, jotka ovat voineet olla pysyviä asukkaita, mutta ne olivat hiljaisia ja kunnioittavia. Ei puhelin vastaanotto täällä ja hieman pois päätieltä, joten en ole varma olisin ollut mukava täällä, jos kumppani ei ollut kanssani.
