Decent phone reception. No Toilets. No signs declaring the spot a freedom camp site, so we moved further because we don’t want to risk any fines at all. Otherwise I think it’s a nice spot, so if you could afford an unlikely fine, then feel free to use the spot.

Was perfect for the night. Not clearly signposted at all. Toilets not working.

My first free campsite in NZ, it was a delightful but also interesting one alone with the rest of the being. There is no noise coming from the plant, but it's pretty wild, mosquitos, some really stubborn weka who will never ever give up for your food, and a wild boar that made me not want to go for the little hike. Unfortunately toilets as of 31.01.26 are no longer operating.

Was ok for one night, I felt safe even being the only one there!

Ei ole enää mahdollista ylittää pientä siltaa, mutta on vielä runsaasti paikkoja, kun käännetään oikealle (sillan yläpuolelle vasemmalle), jään kävelyn alkuun Se on kunnollinen pieni paikka, tasaisilla alueilla

Vietimme kaksi yötä täällä. Siirry sillan yli ja siellä on paljon huoneita, joissa on kätevä wc. Emme huomanneet voimalaitoksen hum. Se on riittävän mukava paikka pysyä pois tarvitset paikan ? .

Ihana paikka. Kävely on upea. Hieman ylös ja alas, mutta helposti hallittavissa. Yksi mukavimmista kävelyistä, joilla olen ollut.

Mukava etäisyys, kävelykatu tutkia. Paljon pysäköintiä yli wee silta.

Emme päässeet sinne, koska tie työt ohittaa. pysähtyi Iveagh Bay sen sijaan.
