We stayed here in Feb 2025 and had a wonderful time. Jane was friendly and welcoming along with the locals in the pub ☺️ the beach is a short wee walk to the campsite ☺️ beautiful scenery and I would highly recommend to any tourist to stop here ☺️

beautiful spot! camp has bathrooms, recycling and a place for your rubbish! aswell as a kitchen and a nice seating area aswell. didn’t use any other amenities so not sure about the rest! showers are $2 for 5 minutes short walk right to the beach i stayed in a non powered site and spots are spaced out nicely so you can have some privacy! the owner came over shortly after i arrived and told me about the camp and was very nice! everything was very clean including the areas to park!

Charming, quiet and peaceful campsite!! Absolutely lovely unpowered sites nestled between trees and bushes, facilities are super clean and spacious (hot showers $2 for 5mins). A short walk to a stunning beach with a historic shipwreck! Lovely sound of the waves from the site, friendly kind owners and a beautiful calm vibe all round! Would recommend to anyone - so worth seeing this area of the beautiful west coast.

Lovely spot, only a couple minutes walk to the beach, plenty of spots and we were able to book online, but seems like you can call up on the day and they should have space. Staff were very friendly. Great kitchen facilities. $2 coin needed for 5 minute hot shower (free cold shower). Few sandflies in evening but not too bad!

11/05/2024 (voimaton) loistava oleskelu tällä leirintäalueella! mukavat puhtaat kylpyhuoneet ja suihkut, siististi leikattu nurmikko täydellinen meidän teltta, ihana takka pitää meidät lämpimänä yöllä.

Loistava leiri kauniilla rannalla / joen suulla. Paljon avointa tilaa, puhtaita ja siistejä tiloja. Uudet johtajat tekevät upeaa työtä.

Hyvä paikka. Ystävällinen tervetuloa. Tilat erittäin puhdas. Hyvä alue. On suositeltavaa. Kuitenkin, ei Visa kortti maksu on mahdollista. 20 NZD per henkilö ja yö.Showering ja pesu päällä.

Erinomainen ja siisti paikka. Oikeudenmukainen hinta korkealle kaudelle. 2 aikuista 36$.

Kaikki toivottivat meidät tervetulleiksi ja kaikki tilat olivat uskomattoman puhtaita ja hyvin hoidettuja. Kiitos niin paljon Tony ja Di (ja isä) pubissa - mikä hieno paikka! Maistui whitebait patties (ei tiennyt whitebait festivaali!) ja olimme innoissamme. Loistava xxx
