Short walk from the car park through beautiful mossy fern forest. As the river is wider here, you won’t be able to get as close to the falls as fantail, but the waterfall is more impressive here. River water is crystal clear. Make sure to leave the gate shut so Billy doesn’t escape.

Es ist ein wunderschöner kurzer Weg durch herrlichen Farnwald und Steineiben bis zum breiten Steinufer des Haastfliegen. Der Wasserfall war für mich dann schnell nur noch Nebensache 😉 Absoluuttisesti suositeltavaa!

Hidden by the trees, you can not go to the foot of the waterfall I preferred Thunder Creek falls
