One of the best campsites in NSW. Definitely book your site in advance ($6). Great flush toilets and sinks are available. The kangaroos and wombats in the evening are an absolute highlight. If you'd like to explore the valley a bit more, we recommend a kayaking tour with WET, where Mike and his son are incredibly friendly and provide excellent travel tips.
Well maintained in the middle of nature. Advance registration is required but completely uncomplicated. Landed here by accident and were super excited!!?
One of our favourite camp spots. It’s not free anymore you have to book via water. Nsw/nsw parks but it’s only $6. Non -allocated spots. Pretty good considering it has an abundance of wildlife (wombats!), drinking water, bins, and clean toilets. Fitzroy falls lookout and hikes are only a short drive from here.
Very good for spotting womats. I give this one 5/5 suiiii
Lovely flat campsite with good toilets and taps outside to fill your jerry cans! Saw some wombats, kangaroos and a tonne of loud squarking parrots! Yay
Nice campground! You have to book, someone is checking at the entrance. Plenty of space but not always leveled. Toilets weren't clean but there are 2 sinks for the dishes and big bins. No showers. We met wombats, it was wonderful! And pretty river nearby
The place is spacious and beautifully situated in the valley. Toilet facilities are okay in themselves - the question is how the user leaves them. Many kangaroos (in the evening behind the fence, at night also between the campers) and a wombat were there too. We didn't have much going on - no cell phone reception
