Brilliant little spot, a bit of a windy/gravelly road to get to it but it’s nice and quiet. Drop toilet is okay. No amazing view but good for a night. Make sure you check your email and keep the code they send you for the padlock

This is a great little hideaway! Eating area, washing up area and a non flush toilet. Great phone reception on NZ 2degrees! There is a gravel track for about 7kms and the roads have a lot of bends but not the worst! Would recommend staying! Lastly the gate is a little annoying I never received the gate code, to unlock the gate so what I did was, book online via Auckland Council website and rang there phone number - 09-301-0101 gave them my confirmation number and they gave me the code!

Rester ici fin mai, nous étions les seuls là-bas. Prendre environ 20 min en bas de la boue / chemin de grêle au site. Grand emplacement si vous prévoyez d'utiliser les sentiers de marche, environ une heure à pied vers Piha, sinon juste un petit champ au milieu de nulle part. Toilette propre et stocké avec loo rouleau. Ils vous envoient le code pour la porte pour entrer, besoin de donner la serrure un peu de wiggle / poussée pour ouvrir.

19 $ pour un morceau d'herbe et un réservoir d'eau. Ok, si vous avez une raison d'y être sinon dépenser 44 et descendre la colline à Piha.

Endroit suffisant pour une nuit, vous devez réserver et il y a une réception très limitée au camp et la route vers elle.
