Merveilleuse découverte, je suis heureux que je sois venu ici, même si Katikati ressent une sorte d'arrêt aléatoire pour la nuit. Seule une autre voiture arrivant tard est venue. Le parc vaut la peine d'une promenade ou d'une séance de yoga, etc., donc idéalement prendre un peu de temps ici. Locaux à pied ou à vélo, très calme et atmosphère conviviale. Les toilettes sont assez propres, mais situés sur la petite colline de l'autre côté de la route.

28Apr2026: Car park for up to 5 self-contained vehicles. Located in the middle of the town, but entrance is a bit hidden and the surroundings are very quiet. We got there at 6 pm and It was empty. We spent a peaceful night.

The entrance is somewhat hidden behind the café. It's a lovely, quiet spot in a well-maintained park. The area marked in yellow on the map can accommodate five vehicles. We were the only ones there, along with just one other campervan. At night, some teenagers drove by in a car and tried to scare us with strange noises. We thought it was ridiculous, but it would certainly be unpleasant for women traveling alone. Around 8 a.m. the next morning, a large group of volunteers gathered in the parking lot.

A beautiful and peaceful spot, not close to the main road which is a plus. Restrooms across the road open until late (or maybe all night). There were only three of us in campers. A great place to spend the night.

A la recherche d'un endroit depuis des siècles dans cette région et a trouvé ce joyau caché. Petit endroit avec de l'espace dans la soirée! Toilettes à proximité et quelques beaux.

Caché mais très agréable freecamp! Tour avant le café, juste après le magasin DIY, c'est un court passage. Il y a des toilettes propres à travers la rue. Super bel endroit, il y avait 1 autre véhicule que le nôtre. Boutiques à distance de marche (café, supermarché, etc.). Courte promenade détendante le long du parc Haiku. Point Wifi au café juste en haut (très bons muffins et lattes!)

Un séjour agréable près d'une merveilleuse rivière et d'un parc, très proche du centre-ville.C'est un endroit super calme pour la nuit, et les toilettes sont à environ 200m, facilement accessible.

A bit hidden behind the cafe. Very quiet parking lot directly at the park and creek. Was there alone. More cars came at night? who were gone again in the morning. Gladly again

Lovely spot as previous comments. Park is room for cars or vans (not big enough for larger motorhomes unfortunately)

Quiet little spot, and we were the only ones there. Really quiet but around 3am I heard a car or cars and some lights. Might be police or the council doing their rounds ? Either way it was ok.
