Absolutely amazing place to be 🤓 Great facilities, clean and good pressure for hot showers, communal Kitchens x2. Table tennis, pool and friendly staff. Laundry services available also for $4
The campsite was fairly clean with hot showers, toilets, and a very well-equipped kitchen. There's also a laundry room. It's mainly a campground for workers, so the atmosphere wasn't amazing. The reception was almost always closed, but the manager made herself available to give us basic information. The experience was average because someone was handcuffed and taken away by the police in front of us. $136.40 for 3 nights in a van for 2 people.
We stayed for a week in our van and it was really great. We arrived after closing time but still received a very warm welcome. The kitchens are large with big tables for eating, and as a bonus, there's a ping-pong table, a basketball court, and a swimming pool! Plenty of showers and toilets. Private showers/toilets for women with an access code. Washing machine and dryers are $4. The only downside is the electricity, which often cuts out in the women's showers. Otherwise, 👌
Check in by 7pm, one night $45 for a car/van, one week $255. Facilities are good, the toilet and hot shower are clean. Bring your own utensils and pans if you are cooking here.
The campsite is ideal if you are working in Te Puke The showers, toilets and kitchen are very clean The people are super nice, they help whenever they can We were supposed to stay 1 week but we stayed fewer nights than planned and we were refunded, which is very nice!
Clean toilets, hot showers, nice kitchen... Just a bit noisy because of the street putside
We spent three weeks at Te Puke Holiday Park twice, simply because it is the cheapest option in Te Puke, our experiences were very mixed: the reception is almost never open, you are introduced to the other campers at reception and you know each other, so you feel very safe, the kitchen is very large and has everything you need, the owners try hard to make everything feel like home. The parking space for campervans is basically not a parking space but a meadow on the main road. In our first 3 weeks the toilets and showers were totally fine, but when we returned the nice showers were closed and we had to use the men's shabby ruins, both the toilets and the showers. That was very terrible, but maybe that has changed now.
We have traveled around NZ and the one at Te Puke Holiday Park is the worst we have ever done. Dirty showers no hot water. 2 women's showers expensive for one night 60 DNZ for 2 people in a camper van. Avoid
Unfortunately it's the cheapest campground in Te Puke but therefore all the facilities are cheap as well. A big dirty kitchen with lots of stoves that don't work, the same with the ovens. Bathrooms are also dirty and you're lucky if you're able to get a hot shower if you're not early enough. Muddy and uneven terrain. I do not recommend this park, but then again, only stayed here myself because it was cheapest and nearby Eastpack(walking distance).
