Un peu loin du centre de la ville. Les salles de bains sont vieilles et tombent en panne (les carreaux laissent des pertes et très petits). La cuisine est rénovée. La zone du camping ne se sent pas épargnée. Je ne laisserais pas les enfants jouer à l'extérieur du camping après le coucher du soleil. La cuisine a fermé à 9 h et ouvert à 7 h. Cependant, la cuisine a été fermée à 7 h 30.

Campground is in a good spot where we could walk down the street to view the lake at sunset & get picked up for our dinner at the Mitai Māori Village. The bathrooms were in good shape & the showers had hot water and good pressure. I’m sure it’s even worse in the summer months, but being so close to the water, there was quite a few mosquitos. The kitchen space isn’t as big as some other paid sites, but still has basically anything you’d need.

Some good bits some not so good. Bad bits: Dump station still not operational, no date for reopening, no information given on the booking details/email etc. Still advertised on the Web site. Toilet block dated but good hot showers and nice and warm. Good bits. Good location for walking into town or to the gondola. Level pitches done with hedges between. On site hot pools are a great bonus and trump some the bad bits. Some of the staff were great some were clearly having a bad day!

If there is no other place to stay it’s fine for a night. But this place is just run down. Kitchen was supposed to open at 7am, but they didn’t open the doors until after 8 am. Not so nice if you want to have an early morning leave.

Much in need of renovation in most areas although the kitchen was functional. , Hot showers good but cubicles very poor. Renovation picture on wall but no date for completion. Hot tubs very hot but rather shoddy surroundings, don’t expect a spa experience. No water on our pitch, only electricity and the dump station out of action with no ETA. WiFi advertised as free but only free for first 300MB after that you pay per day. Quiet site from external noise with helpful staff on the plus side.

It's okay for a night but not more. I think it's quite expensive for what you get. Hot pools, regular small swimming pool and a small playground. Showers are very small and you have to be careful otherwise everything will be wet after. It's not really clean but for a night it's okay. If you are going to stay longer I would recommend another Campingside. Didn't use the free limited wifi.

Nous avons payé 177 $ pour un site « vue sur l'océan ». Ce n'était pas une vue sur l'océan — nous étions à quatre rangées de l'eau avec plusieurs RVs devant nous. Le camping est extrêmement surpeuplé. RVs, voitures et familles sont emballés étroitement avec très peu d'espace entre les sites. Nous sommes venus avec notre bébé en espérant une journée de détente près de la piscine, mais il était si occupé qu'il n'y avait même pas de sièges disponibles. Pour le prix, cela semblait trop vendu et mal géré. Je recommande d'économiser votre argent et choosi

Douches chaudes, bonne cuisine. Calme et facile à pied vers la ville. Nous avons beaucoup aimé nous sommes restés une nuit supplémentaire.

Not a bad site at all it is dated but has everything you need. Geothermal activity on the site which is cool. Free hot showers. Free hot tubs. Free cooking area with plenty space. Overall nice camp site.
