A eu tellement de plaisir ici de regarder tous les moutons et petit agneau si près. bel endroit calme camp avec pas beaucoup de gens. service mobile limité mais très proche de la ville principale de toute façon

Un camping agréable et calme. Il dispose de deux toilettes, qui étaient propres. De l'eau courante est également disponible. Accès direct au Goldley Head Track. Réservation requise.

Superbe endroit pour le camping près de Christchurch. Beaucoup de promenades à proximité, de l'espace pour se répandre, une vue incroyable, et un site historique juste là. Les toilettes étaient seulement modérément propres, pas d'eau potable, donc vous devez être auto-suffisant. La route est raide et étroite, mais cela vaut le voyage et même une grande maison de voiture est passable si vous êtes raisonnablement expérimenté.

Beautiful campsite with lots of space and a very nice view, perfect for sunset walks. Toilets are clean and well maintained, there‘s even water to wash hands. The campsite is accessible via a code for a lock which is sent upon booking. The only downside was that it gets quite windy sometimes.

Loved this DOC site and spent five days there around Christmas/New Year time. There’s plenty of space and great views - the peninsula walk takes you past loads of old military buildings and to Taylor’s Mistake beach. The phone signal wasn’t great - 2-3 bars of Spark and weak for video calls. There are just two flushing toilets that get pretty busy, especially in the morning. Sometimes, we walked to the other toilets in the day parking area outside the gates.

We spent five days there and had no complaints. The toilets were relatively clean. There was non-potable water available and a sink for washing dishes. The cell service wasn't great, but the signal was decent. The access road is along the mountainside but remains very accessible, even for a campervan; just drive carefully.

Beautiful location and views. The road up is narrow and lots of cyclist use during the day so drive slowly. Windy at the top. Has a flush toilet and non-potable water sink toward the end of the ground.

Very large campsite with plenty of space for caravans, vans, or tents. Toilets with sink and soap. The site is very pretty with magnificent views and a beautiful hike around the peninsula. The access road runs along the cliff but is perfectly usable, well-maintained, and safe. Unreliable phone signal.

incredible. Don’t miss this out of fear of the reviews of the road… it’s fine if you go slow.
