Here is a possible review: We had a very nice time at Rakaia River Holiday Park

We stayed here one night on our way back to Christchurch. We found it to be a well appointed stop. Best showers we experienced in the South Isand nz, nightly rate for a motorhome was also cheap. Amenities were clean and kitchen area although gets busy accommodation 3 groups cooking at a time, it’s pretty well equipped with cooking utensils and also has a sandwich press which was great. Bbq area looked very inviting, however we didn’t have anything to cook on it. We loved the complete privacy.

Not bad place if u need a stopover before returning to christchurch.. hedge on both sides gives you full privacy. Showers were old & clean with spider webs in hidden spots.. desperately need deep cleaning.. lots of dead mosquitoes on bathroom bench.. a bit scary coz i think only few sites were occupied when we stayed.. barbecue area bins were overflowing with rubbish .. sadly, wifi didn’t work at all Phone signal was fine

Needed somewhere to stay for a night inbetween Tekapo & Akaroa and so stopped here. $37pn for a solo with a small van for a powered site is pretty steep, up there with the most I’ve paid in 3 months in NZ! The sites themselves are nicely sheltered by bushes either side. But the facilities feel a little old & uncared for. The bathroom sinks were full of dust & dirt that had come through the vents! The shower floor was a little the same though the water was hot. Feels overpriced for what it is

Très bel endroit avec des propriétaires sympathiques. A une belle aire de jeux pour enfants, Wi-Fi solide et de beaux endroits avec la vie privée.

Grand camping pour notre dernière nuit avant de se rendre à Christchurch. Beaucoup d'espace, de vie privée, d'ombre. Facilités telles que toilettes, douches chaudes, nettoyage de la cuisine. Pas besoin d'attendre quoi que ce soit. Personnel super sympathique. Nous avons même joué au mini-golf. Beaucoup de pots pour recycler vos ordures. Je recommande!

Un magnifique camping qui a tout et plus à offrir !

Excellent endroit pour rester pour des vacances ou quelques jours. Nous étions en train de passer sur notre chemin pour rentrer et malheureusement seulement resté 1 nuit. propre, décoré, bien entretenu et bien géré. Les installations sont vérifiées et nettoyées régulièrement tout au long de la journée. Le personnel extrêmement serviable.

Fab spot, beaux terrains ombragés, douches chaudes et excellentes activités pour la famille. Excellent premier arrêt sur la route sud.
