Le camping est entre le chemin de fer et la route A1, donc il est bruyant mais toujours le bienvenu pour un sommeil sur la route.

Good spot to break up the drive to Chch for the night. No toilet. Road noise was negligble.

Everybody seems to be afraid of this place. Not sure why. The negatives: a bit of noise coming from the road but acceptable and no toilets. The positives: the place is large enough for 15 to 20 vehicles so you are almost certain to find a place (today, we are alone with the many birds) and there are two tables. It would only be muddy after big rains but under normal circumstances, absolutely no issue (gravel in the center and grass on the side).

Based on the reviews, I was expecting a real nightmare! In reality, there were tables for eating and a bit of greenery. It's true, there's no toilet... Beyond that, only one person was parked there, and it was safe. As for the road noise I read about, it wasn't bothersome!

Nice spot to break up our trip, road noise didn't bother us. It's a pitty the track to the river is covered in toilet paper and 💩!! No wonder we lose so many FC areas when they are treated like this 😡

Il est venu pour défier l'oiseau tueur en série, il nous a juste tourmenté avec un screech pas de progrès aujourd'hui. expérience globale 7/10 TIL prochaine fois oiseau tueur

Zone de repos dans l'herbe. Il y a de la place pour 10-15 voitures et 2 tables de pique-nique. L'endroit est calme, bien qu'il soit sur le côté de la route. Pas de toilettes. je recommande :)

Simple arrêt de repos sur la route. salle de bains propre. Restez ici 1 nuit pour rompre le trajet de Christchurch-Kaikoura. Aucun aperçu d'oiseaux meurtriers!
