Un endroit magnifique et de beaux paysages. Pas un mauvais prix pour un site alimenté non plus.

I booked a spot at this campsite right in front of the beach. However, the access road into the campsite is densely wooded and tight, making it easy for a caravan to get scratched. Besides, the pitches are very close to one another, so it feels cramped overall. Even though it’s supposed to be a beachfront site, the trees block the view, and you can barely see the beach.

L'endroit idéal, les commodités propres avec de la musique radio . Grande douche à l'extérieur avec de l'eau chaude à la température parfaite. Bloc très convivial à la réception. Merci

We booked a beach-side powered site a bit further away from the main areas and did not regret it. Black sand beach and incredible starry nights in their recently certified dark skies. Facilities were simple but clean. Showers in our area did not require coins, and were hot.

Installations de base mais entièrement fonctionnelles qui pourraient être un peu plus propres... Cependant, la beauté est juste sur la plage pour seulement $20pn (non alimenté).Dolphins nagant le matin, beaux couchers de soleil (lorsqu'il n'y a pas de brouillard) et une belle plage de sable noir à marcher.

Camping on a beautiful location. Neat maintenance and a lovely shower. Friendly receptionist

We had a great parking lot under trees with direct access to the beach. Dark enough for stars at night. Toilets and showers separate - could be bigger. In our washroom there was no hair dryer and also no socket to connect ours. There are two kitchens, one has a toaster in it, but not in the small one. The "big" kitchen was rather cramped.

We had a beautiful spot by the sea. The dryer wasn't working, so the campsite owner offered to dry it for us. She even brought it to the camper. So kind. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night. A very nice campsite.

Le niveau de satisfaction dépendra du type de camion que vous avez et de la zone dans laquelle vous campez. propriétaires actuels (1-2 ans) ont apparemment dépensé plusieurs $M pour réparer / améliorer l'infrastructure d'évacuation et de l'eau à l'extrémité nord de ce grand site (endommagé par le tremblement de terre) et ont une longue liste de travaux de maintenance / réparation / remplacement qui ne peuvent pas être effectués immédiatement. mon expérience en tant qu'utilisateur de site sans pouvoir était OK (site 4/5, Wifi 3/5 spasmodique - esp. @ nuit, douches 3/5 chaud v chaud, w/m & sécheur performance 2/5, cuisines 4/5)

Great site just south of Kaikoura, and much cheaper than the equivalent sites in Kaikoura itself if (like me) you were too late to get a freedom camping spot. Pretty much right next to the sea.
