Grand freecamp dans un vaste champ près de la rivière. Bloc de toilettes en bon état (flush) avec une douche extérieure entre hommes et femmes. Recommandé pour une nuit sans aucun problème

Vous devez envoyer l'enregistrement environ 24 heures à l'avance, sinon vous ne recevrez pas de réponse à temps. Nous sommes allés là sans réponse et Ann a obtenu l'autorisation rétroactivement le lendemain. Les toilettes des hommes étaient apparemment très dégoûtantes. Les toilettes des femmes étaient OK. Il y avait une douche. Les habitants y avaient fait la fête. Tout était très agréable dans le vert. Le WiFi n'était pas si bon.

Huge flat area not far from town, very quiet, toilets and rubbish bins available which was appreciated, great place to let the dogs frolick after being couped up from ferry crossing ?

Lovely even ground. Large area surrounded by trees with river down one side. Toilets older but clean, rubbish bins. Dogs allowed on lead or off if under control. Very quiet and will definitely will get back. Council were very obliging when we called in for a permit.

Wonderful flat reserve with large open areas to parkup. Toilets & Rubbish Bins! Extremely well cared for - mown recently & no litter. Loads more areas avail , and it’s Waitangi Weekend. A mix of tents, Buses, Caravans & Motorhomes. Will be our pick, when we want to nip away for 1 night but only drive 30mins from home.

Beautiful Reserve. Large grassed area with trees around the boundary. Access to river that has swimming holes. Dogs welcome and there is a area for them to run free. No internet.

Lovely quiet spot enjoyed it. Yes you're required to get a permit but that's easy and free

Site is closed for camping according to council. They also require permit sticker from council before going if open.
