Nous sommes arrivés à 8h30 et il y avait encore beaucoup d'espace disponible. La route était éclairée, donc nous avons pu prendre la route de la grêle sans aucun problème. Les toilettes sont à la station-service à proximité. Aucun problème pendant la nuit.

Plenty of spaces, but was busy by the time we arrived. Sheltered from the main road, careful if you arrive in the dark as the ground is pretty uneven in places. Good cafe onsite which opens at 0800.

Great place to stop over. Plenty of parking on grass if carpark area is full. Nice quite spot behind the museum, which opens early with friendly staff serving up great coffee and food.

Toilet with code, impossible to use

Beau grand espace et très cool. Vous vous sentez niché derrière le musée militaire et sont en fait entouré par la nature de l'autre côté. Bel endroit pour arrêter car il est assez calme et beaucoup de stations-service. toilettes publiques est tout à quelques minutes à pied. Signal téléphonique était disponible à des niveaux décents.

Facile à garer n'importe où sur l'herbe dans le camping de la liberté, très propres toilettes publiques à côté de la station d'essence. seul inconvénient est pas de puits d'eau fraîche nulle part et seulement de petites bouteilles disponibles dans les magasins.

A quiet and large (I think for about 20 motorhomes) free camping area with clean toilets on the other side of the road by the petrol station. Great view of the high mountains, when they're not shrouded in clouds.

Great spot with toilets not too far across the road. Didn't go to the museum but I would stop by and try it out on my way back through. Great location for exploring Tongariro Nat Park and Lord of the Rings locations

Not the most cosy location but good for one night. I was there with a few other campers. Quiet. Toilers are across the street next to Caltex. The one on the site ate locked (from the museum).

Good location with a great mountain view. There are toilets, but it's a bit noisy with the train and road nearby.
