Aug 2021 We spent a night here on our way from Rotorua to the Wairarapa. We parked up in the shelter of the grandstand as it was really windy. Liz had opened the gates and toilet earlier and came and said hello when we arrived. The toilets were clean and we had a nice quiet night. A good fenced area for our dog as well.

Quiet, safe rural domain. Arrived to find campers with horses setting up for a weekend carriage driving event. Good toilets, but no longer any dump point.

Great spot, cooking, longe area, fridges, shower and toilet. Black Dog pub across the road worth a visit real country pub. Great fish and chips. Be aware there is now no dump station at this site. Worth a stop over.

Secure quiet site with beautiful rural views. Ground firm grass not regularly mown. Great to walk around a very small rural settlement that had seen better days and chat with friendly locals.

The place is a big meadow, with a small tribune. We were all alone. Electricity was also available with electricity $ 10 without $ 5. There is no kitchen, no toilets, no showers. It was very idyllic.

Good place to stay for a few nights. Shower and electricity included in the price of $10 each. The owner is also very gentle. As signed, you have to get the key from the owner to open the 'barn', toilets and shower. He is located at 14 Forward street. Would stay there again??

Great place, nice people and close to bikers pub. Don't be too fuzzy with shower.
