Absolutely lovely couple running a beautiful campsite with an amazing garden and wildlife. We went down the wrong road (don't go left just after the entrance!) and got stuck and the owners were very kind about giving us a tow back up the hill. Would recommend to anyone.

What a dreamy place these two have created! Everything is lovingly and beautifully furnished. There's an outdoor shower, an outhouse, and plenty of nature. We spent a cozy evening there with red wine.

I was able to stay there for two weeks. Simon and Nadège are two wonderful people, and I had a great time with them and with other travellers passing through. It's one of the cheapest places in the area, and it also has a hot shower. I highly recommend it!

Nous ne nous sommes arrêtés qu'une nuit, mais cela pourrait être une destination. Magnifiques hôtes et propriétés étonnantes, certainement à la terre et les chiens les plus adorables.

Très bel endroit, hôtes très sympathiques ouverts à la discussion et donner de bons conseils sur la région. Endroit très agréable et relaxant, un véritable retour à la nature, des vaches supplémentaires et des labradors. Très belle cuisine partagée et douches, électricité et wifi accessible. Je recommande fortement ce retour aux sources.

I spent few days at Down to Earth and it's been just one of the highlight of my travel in New Zealand. Simon, Nadège, Mitch, Molly & Milo offered me way more than a place to pinch my tent, but a delightful environnement full of plants, flowers, trees, all perfectly designed by Simon (an amazing landscape designer). We shared quality moments together, playing volleyball, hiking cape brett, campfire, and so on. They have also caravans and places for campervans on their land. Just go !

Endroit incroyable pour rester, Wifi, douche chaude, beaucoup d'endroits pour garer / louer une chambre.

Magnifique camping, il vaut la peine de rester. Bonne compagnie, beau paysage et de superbes installations (cuisine, douche, toilettes...)

Désolé de rester ici!!! hôtes super sympathiques et accueillants avec bon chat et banter. A eu les 2 nuits les plus détendues ici avec ma mère et mon chat, oui un endroit amical pour les chats aussi!! Les chiens Milo et Molly sont vraiment doux et cuddly. Plus massif: vous pouvez également réserver un massage, je vous recommande absolument de le faire. Grande expérience, comme le nom, c'est à la terre. Installation de base, mais il vous donne tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Merci d'avoir nous, je reviendrai certainement sur mon prochain roadtrip!!!

Amazing spot, super friendly people, free hot shower and little kitchen area. Owner gave us some awesome tips for visiting the area and was a cool guy to talk to. If you're in the area this is a much better alternative to the holiday parks close by if you like nature, peace, and chill vibes <3
