Amazing walk in the forest: perfect for a coffee stop!

Great walk. The forest was beautiful with bright green moss everywhere. Entry for the walk is at the very start of the camp ground.

Beautiful!! The forest is nice and magical with the moss everywhere. Then you are suddenly on the shore of the lake with amazing views. Small walk, but very enjoyable :)

Nice forest walk,but nothing special,very limited view of the lake..Nice if you are spending night at the campsite,but would not stop here just for that,views of the lake much better from the road

A really lovely walk with a lot of bird life. We spotted robins, bellbird, rifleman and fantail.

I loved the place. Very easy walk through the forest and the super quiet lake. It seems that a gnome will come out at any moment. A site that I recommend.

Sleeping at Cascade Creek ... It was the inevitable ride. We did not regret, magical atmosphere of it's moss-covered trees at all of this super simple trail that ended up on the lake. A lot of birds are not shy at all, it's so cute. Kea also especially at the beginning.
