Managed to spot some sea lions, up on the grass past the caravan park (babies incoming). Nice spot to walk the beach if the weather is permitting.

Un endroit incroyable pour voir n'importe quel genre de faune sauvage. Sealions, dauphins Hector, pingouins aux yeux jaunes. Juste génial. Soyez conscient que vous devez quitter la zone d'utilisation du jour sur le site du camp à 8h30! Nous avons certainement été sanctionnés car nous n'avons pas vu le signe à l'entrée

Amazing site! Dolphins constantly present playing in the waves. Not shy, we stayed in the water with them for an hour.

Saw one penguin come in. When we got down to the viewing platform a couple were sitting on the rocks between the water and the penguins nest. There are so many signs stating not to do this as it will discourage them from feeding their chicks. Some serous lack of regard and disgusting behaviour!!

We stayed there half a day and all the time there were Hector's dolphins! And the highlight: a pod of Orcas turned up!! We could watch them for about 30 mins. Incredible!

Beautiful bay. Would recommend taking a pair of binoculars, we saw quite a few Hectors dolphins playing in the waves!

We were there from about 11am until late in the evening, and until dusk you could see dolphins all the time, up to 20 at a time! Don't be put off by the cold water and go swimming (with enough distance), the close experience with the dolphins is definitely worth it. Just a dream.

Saw 2 penguins at 19:00 ! Awesome

Saw dolphins around 2pm, amazing! Best to get here around midday for good parking. Really nice spot with loos.
