Friendly staff and nice campsite with clean facilities near the beach; do recommend!

Very nice campsite with old but clean toilets/showers ($2 shower). Friendly welcome despite the late hour (7pm), few people, very quiet. Sound of the waves and a small view of Taranaki. Kitchen available (fridge, hotplates, microwave, kettle) but no table. Wifi not very functional today

Hidden little gem located next to the river & not far to visit Mount Taranyaki Hosts are beautiful people & very welcoming. Facilities are clean, $2 for a hot shower & campers only use. We paid $45 with a powered site per night. Spent 2 nights & sad we are leaving as we live in Australia 🇦🇺 Thanks so much 🙏🏽

Les terrains sont grands, les terrains sont bien entretenus, les installations sanitaires sont propres mais obsolètes, les douches coûtent 2§ pour 6 minutes, prix pour 2 personnes 50§. Le terrain le plus cher pour les offres que nous avons vues en comparaison au cours des 5 dernières semaines.

Tout va bien. Des installations propres, de beaux soignants. Superbe emplacement près de la rivière. Nous n'y sommes restés qu'une nuit. Prix excellent. NZ$48 site alimenté.

Très bon camping. Très serviable et sympathique hôtes. Beaucoup de locaux semblent rester ici, qui étaient également vraiment sympathiques. La nuit où nous avons séjourné ils avaient un garçon local offrant un divertissement gratuit jouant des couvertures sur la guitare de 5pm à 9pm non stop. La plage elle-même n'est pas si bonne pour la natation. Tout le monde semble nager dans le ruisseau. Bonnes installations, y compris les douches.

Absolutely recommend!. Beautiful site and location. Great for kids, families etc. Clean, well equipped and very well managed. Hope to come back again in the future and stay a few more days. Thank you!.

Beautiful campsite. Great location on the river, a small bridge takes you to black sand dunes and a lovely beach. The complex itself is very well maintained, kitchen equipped with everything you need. Nice playground, toilets and warm showers available. We (family with children) can highly recommend it!

Perfect site. Large spot for the van, very quiet and close to the beach.. Beautiful black sand. Can recommend it!

Had a fabulous 3 days. Awesome river and weather was lovely. Taranaki Maunga amazing! Very reasonably priced and helpful manager. Definitely will come back.
