Une fois que vous comprenez comment réserver, c'est facile. L'endroit est beau, sont tous seuls, toilettes ok!

Après un appel téléphonique de 30 minutes avec une jolie personne au conseil de la ville d'Auckland, dans les parcs et les loisirs, elle m'a aidé à faire la réservation et m'a parlé via leur site Web. Les toilettes étaient propres, les chiens de rangers étaient très enthousiastes et les tuis étaient en plein vol. Parqué sur une zone plate derrière le bâtiment principal, malheureusement pas de vue mais paisible.

Il y a 2 sites SCC, 1 saison estivale & 1 hiver, le dernier étant derrière le HQ bldg, le premier une zone gravée sur les appartements près du Blackberry Flat Camp. Vérifiez la carte ARP (via le lien sous "Contactez") pour l'emplacement de la saison estivale. Aucune signalisation! Système de réservation un PITA et chaque pax ARP vous dira quelque chose de différent. Générer avant d'appeler. Persévère. ? ~ Puriri Grove marche & Waharau Bush marche très utile. Le parc est un crédit pour le personnel.

This is the parking lot behind the information center. Take the little road to the left hand side. There is no signage indicating you can camp there and no one on the phone at the reservation line has ANY clue where to find it. But this is it. Small quiet gravel parking lot next to cow pasture with water tap and clean bathrooms. As a note: Reservation system is absolutely miserable. Worst way to pay for a campsite of any I have experienced in NZ.

Nothing is indicated for the winter. Super clean toilet place and plenty of space then an open space available. Cool !

Excellent place to spend a couple of days - good walking tracks (short to long trips), quiet, lovely and a very pleasant place.

Beautiful area well maintained grounds. Not very clear on where you can park, astonished that it was deserted when the very average top 10 campground further down the road was full. The lack of people gave it an eerie feeling, couldn't help but think that it is a very under utilised resource maybe this is because the lack of clarity on the booking and payments (the same can be said for the other regional park campgrounds in the area).
