Le barrage est incroyable à voir, l'eau est puissante et coule sur le mur du barrage. Assez isolé, était un bon endroit pour camper pour la nuit pour un début tôt le lendemain matin. Un peu plus froid sur les montagnes la nuit.

We stayed there for one night. It's not a campsite; it's a pumped-storage hydroelectric plant or something similar for generating electricity. We parked before the bridge. It was a bit eerie because it's so remote, but it was a great stopover. We were the only ones there.

The navigation address is not accurate. After crossing the bridge, I saw another RV and parked next to it. It was very clean, but it was super cold at night.

Excellent endroit, agréable et calme... Jusqu'à 6am quand la sirène de libération du barrage s'est éteinte! Juste allé pour 10mins donc une bonne horloge d'alarme vraiment.

L'application n'est pas tout à fait correct. Prendre la route scellée pas le non scellé. Nombre de pièces. Rester à nouveau.

Grand endroit, calme avec accès à l'eau et la forêt à pied. Bon arrêt pour une nuit de voyage à Wellington pour le ferry de l'après-midi.

Fabuleux endroit. Superbe vue. Nous sommes allés sur la route à droite avant le pont du barrage. Bonne salle à tourner. Je recommande cet endroit

Great spot! Turn right just before the dam bridge and get less shade but more privacy. No other cars and it was the height of the summer season. Listening to the water is soothing too.

Really cold in the morning! Try to park before you go over the dam otherwise you will NOT get morning sun.
