We booked for two nights, and due to Cyclone Vaianu, we parked at the foot of the house rather than on the lawn, but it didn't bother us at all. The hosts were incredibly welcoming; they let us charge our phones and portable power bank in their garage, and they even offered us a shower and Wi-Fi. We didn't dare ask for Wi-Fi after such kindness! 😅 The surrounding area is beautiful and lush; we loved it and highly recommend the location.

Don't drive up the drive! The camping garden (it's too nice to say field) is the next gate at the very end of the road. It's a lovely spot, quiet and peaceful and reasonably flat. There aren't pitches as such, just start where you want. It is what it says it is, a haven just outside the city with no facilities whatsoever but so much nicer than an urban carpark. Thanks for making this available!

Hello À vert bas experience Nobody for reception ! Field unsuitable for Motorhomes Not recommended

I stayed here last night, and I couldn't wait to write about it. So, I'm writing this before I leave. A sanctuary it certainly is! The wonderful couple and their little one were so friendly and welcoming. I'm so grateful to find such a peaceful spot so close to the city. Parked up near the stream, I fell asleep to the beautiful surrounding sounds of nature, and slept so well! Thank you so much for sharing such an idealic space!

I pulled up to the driveway in my 6m van. 3m tall. Was not going to attempt it. Decided to let booking go. Photo looks way better.

Très bel endroit. Proche de Hamilton centre mais au milieu de la nature.

Juste pour dire combien nous avons apprécié la rencontre avec Simone et notre séjour dans le merveilleux sanctuaire urbain de sa famille.Avec toute la faune autour de nous - fantômes, argent sur le figuier, thon dans le ruisseau, et morepork hooting & screeching au crépuscule - et le cadre paisible du jardin, il était difficile de croire que nous étions au milieu d'une ville animée.

Merci à Tuckie et l'accueil chaleureux dans le jardin. Nous avons servi des fruits fraîchement récoltés et nous avons rejoint sur l'alimentation des agneaux épais dans le ruisseau. Chaleureux, calme et bel endroit. Très recommandé! Salutations d'Ava, Vår, Marie et Julius de Norvège.

Un grand merci à Tuk qui était super agréable et généreux! Cette zone est SUPERB et est un endroit si agréable à attirer pour une nuit ou 2! Cela pourrait être mon endroit préféré pour tout notre voyage! Malheureusement, le sol était encore un peu mouillé donc nous nous sommes installés dans la route mais descendre à la vallée juste au crépuscule est une si belle expérience! 10/10 endroit! 110/10 hôtes! Un endroit incroyable pour séjourner. Un hôte aussi sympathique. Utilisons ses vélos l'après-midi pour aller voir la ville. Il a quelques chouettes écureuils qu'il prend soin et c'est un endroit très paisible.
