Could not ask for more from a paid campsite. Full use of clean kitchen and bathroom facilities for $15pp. I’ve been to numerous camps in New Zealand and most showers are time limited or cost additional tokens to use, not here. Showers are not limited, very warm and good pressure. Owners are very accommodating and also run a lovely little cafe alongside the campsite. Would recommend.

Has all the basics at a good price !

Nous avons payé 30$ pour deux personnes. L'endroit a l'air bien, vous avez beaucoup d'espace pour vous garer. Les commodités sont pauvres tho - vous avez une cuisine et une salle de bains pour deux sexes. Il n'y a pas de serrures dans les toilettes je ne comprends pas vraiment pourquoi. Les douches étaient vraiment chaudes et la pression était super forte. La nourriture au café était bonne et les propriétaires étaient amicaux. La pire chose était les papillons - ils nous mangeaient vivants. C'était une bataille. Là où les dommages d'eux, le pire que nous avons jamais vécu.

Cet endroit était super! Nous avons conduit notre RV sur le lot supérieur, à côté des tables et avons eu une très belle vue sur les collines et la rivière. Les installations étaient propres, le restaurant était excellent et le propriétaire était super agréable aussi. Nous avons marché sur le lit de la rivière, nous avons apprécié les vues et vu des vers brillants la nuit. Quelques mouches, mais nous avions un répulsif et n'avons pas été mordus autant. Un excellent endroit dans l'ensemble!

Looked a bit sketchy so I ended up not staying here after taking a tour of the place.

What a gem! $15 pp for the night, good kitchen facilities, warm showers and an epic view. Can grab some beers from the cafe and the food looked really good though didn't eat there. Great spot.

Good spot to stay. Lots of room to set up. Stayed one night and had no issues.

Let's start with the good points. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, and the facilities are good, including a kitchen and toilet. It's a simple parking area with plenty of spaces. However, there are a lot of sandflies! It's almost impossible to get out of the car without getting bitten. Okay for the price.

Very very nice campsite. Friendly owner. The bar was relaxing, the drinks and food were cheap and delicious. The view from the bar was very nice. Campsite is just a large grass and gravel field, which does the job. Facilities are very basic, but for this price you usually don't get any facilities at all. Highly recommend for a one night stay.

Awesome spot with great views! Super friendly staff and situated perfectly next to the river. For $15 I'm extremely impressed! Looking forward to hitting the bar later! Super cheap drinks! Look out! Haha
