Rester ici 1 nuit.
So far the best spot in NZ. 15$ for a tent, 3$ for the hot shower(just for 4 minutes though) great loundry facilities, everything seems to be new and perfectly clean. If you end up staying here you must try the food in the restaurant! Haloumi fries were so yummy ? definitely recommend!!
This place was a safe haven for us after attempting the drive from Seddonville to Karamea tired and worn out from walking the Old ghost road. The place looks brand new, the facilities are very clean and work well. The pub/restaurant/cafe is very cozy and they also make good burgers! Lots of even grassy places to park the van and we had the pleasure to watch baby pukekos with their mama directly next to our van. We paid $15 for two together unpowered, $3 for nice inside hot shower with good pressure (you need tokens from the reception), $5 for wasching machine and dryer both (also token operated). They don't have a communal kitchen, but there's a sink for dishes - and we preferred dining in the restaurant anyway because it is so conveniently near and you don't have to worry about getting drunk since the van is so near ;)
I really enjoyed my stay here. The facilities were immaculate in condition and cleanliness. Got a great powered site, and a free 5 minute hot shower. Bathroom/shower facilities were great. Nice and quiet, with a beautiful mountain view. There’s a bar and restaurant on-site, and I was greeted by two friendly dogs upon arrival. Overall everything was great!
“Thank you! We are glad enjoyed your stay.”
The campsite is very nice rustic toilet well hidden towards the river and beach view. By cons it is poorly indicated on the map. The place is on the other side of the river opposite on the wharf road. You have to go to the village and then follow beach access.
“Hi there, I think you stayed at the campsite across the road from us! We would love to see if you next time you stay out this way.”
Really good value for money. The facilities are brand new. Also there's a great deal on coffee and muffins which are delicious
“Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed your stay.”
Cool stay for my dog and I. Very friendly, good facilities highly recommended.
“Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Did your dog get their photo taken for our instagram page @dogsoflittlewanganui ?”
Didn't stay here, but did go for Sunday roast and it was excellent and for a very reasonable $20 including home-made pudding!
“Thank you!”
Very nice acomodation and friendly hosts. Fully equiped. You can find here hot showers, flush toilets, large dinning room, kitchen, laundry and living room with TV and power sockets for charging your devices. 5/5
