We also had a strange experience being put in the corner spot where we had to have other campers move to get us in and therefore were essentially trapped in for the night. I forgot we wanted to visit the glow worm dell that night so when asked if we needed to leave at any point I said no and it was too awkward to ask the other people to move. Not been to another site where you are trapped in and wasn’t thrilled. Also sewage smell in that corner which wasn’t great. Otherwise good facilities.

Place was quite clean and facilities were more than spacious. Wifi is free and unlimited. Showers come with good water pressure and unlimited hot water. So far nothing to complain about. But we stayed beside a permanent camper and there was a strong smell from cannabis. Also cooking plates in the kitchen were not working properly. I cannot understand campgrounds accepting people smoking weeks the whole evening...

Great stay! Best shower experience- unlimited hot water and a big private room with toilet and a sink. All the rest is very clean and cozy!

I’m not sure if we just were there on a bad day but the site we were at had a horrible sewage smell that seemed to get worse as the day went on… possibly overflow issues? We were also packed in here with 4 campers in a pod and would have to have people move their camper to leave easily. Also no easy way to get to Hokitika on foot as there are no trails and minimal shoulder on the main road. Facilities were fine and relatively standard.

There was an overwhelming smell of sewage around our site (21) meaning we couldn’t open any of our windows or doors, but the smell still got in. We brought it up with reception, who said it was a rain drainage gutter running behind us - it wasn’t raining in the morning so unsure why it was flowing so heavily and stinking. We were allocated a site squeezed in with 3 other sites, at other holiday parks would have just been 2. Told we’d be blocked in if the 4th camper arrived. Showers were good.

Stayed on a powered site, only $25pp. The site was spacious and there were individual bathrooms with toilet and shower which was nice. Shower temp was hot. Other than a few permanent caravans, I reckon I was the only person booked in which was a bit wierd cos it’s a nice site and half the price of the one in town. Only a couple of kms drive to town and the beach.

Séjourné 1 nuit, tente sans puissance avec un check-in tard dans le personnel était accompagnant le check-in tard dans les douches et les toilettes sont excellents et propres, la cuisine est agréable (ne l'utilise pas) Aucune plainte avec ce parc de vacances La zone environnante est grande, non loin de Hokitika et les plages. très calme et convivial, recommander

La salle de bains était impeccable, avec une forte pression de l'eau et de l'eau chaude constante. De plus, chaque salle de bains était complètement privée. La cuisine commune était bien équipée, bien que la cuisinière à induction n'ait pas été assez puissante. À la fin, nous avons fini de cuisiner le dîner sur la cheminée à gaz dans notre camping-car. Le camping était très calme la nuit, avec seulement un nombre limité de sites disponibles - il est donc fortement recommandé de réserver à l'avance pendant la saison de pointe.

Nous étions ici il y a 8 ans pour l'ouverture et maintenant à nouveau: absolument la bonne décision! Camping extrêmement bien entretenu, installations sanitaires propres, espaces spacieux, espaces communs utiles et - le plus important - des personnes très accueillantes et utiles qui gèrent le site et qui se soucient du bien-être de leurs invités. Nous voyageons en voiture et en tente.

Il doit y avoir des proches donnant des commentaires. Notre expérience était très différente. WiFi était marginal à non existant. Dump était hors de l'ordre. Même toi il y avait plusieurs endroits ouverts, nous avions des camping-cams stationnés dans un cluster autour de nous. Je dois dire que les douches étaient très agréables. C'est notre troisième semaine sur l'île du Sud et notre première expérience marginal avec un parc. Tout cela à prix premium.
