Really cute campsite with private powered sites. Only downside is when we showered at 10pm the bathrooms needed some tlc (only 2 open cubicles for the whole site)
Perfect location! Camping in the heart of Franz Joseph, each location has privacy thanks to the hills and trees, everything is super clean. Spacious bathroom, there is even a dry hair girl side. Eviver with hot water and kitchen space. $20 for 1 person it is perfect
We really enjoyed it! The toilets and showers were very clean. There was even a hairdryer available if needed. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout the campsite, and self-check-in was easy. The kitchen is outdoors but functional. We were able to use the kettle and toaster for lunch. Several pitches are private, offering a sense of privacy.
Clean facilities, hot showers, lovely sites nestled in the bush for our Hi-Top van, best stay that we've had.
Self check-in with simple instructions. Clean toilets with hot showers. Free unlimited wifi was great! Kitchen is not that well equipped - one of the stoves were faulty and caused the power to trip. Has a shared fridge, microwave, kettle. Bring your own utensils and cookware though. Trash area was not marked so it took a bit of exploring to find it - it’s near the entrance, behind a wooden panel.
Love the vibe, super clean facilities, super friendly on check in, lovely rainforest feel with surrounding mountains, in a motor home but space to manoeuvre into our powered spot, not too close to the site next door, super happy.
Unacceptable. When we stayed here for one night, there was a power outage that deprived us of using the shower (which was so cold), the kitchens and everything else. For half the time we stayed the situation was so. The next day, so we asked, or at least tried, to ask for compensation. The manager did not even try to understand and hung up when we were on the phone.
I was there 14.4. And everything was nice. Clean toilets, hot showers, outdoor kitchen and recharging spot. 27NZD/night.
