אהבנו את המקום הזה כל כך הרבה שהיינו שם פעמיים! יש הרבה מקום, בלוק שירותים עם מים זורמים, אזור פיקניק עם מזרק מים. אין מקלחות ולא הרבה אות טלפון. ככל הנראה יש קרוקים בנהר אבל לא ראינו כלום (יש להיזהר!). ניסינו לדוג ליד הנהר (ללא מזל) ואנחנו הלכנו לחוף כדי לצפות בשקיעה שהיה נחמד. עדיף להזמין באינטרנט לפני שאתה מגיע לשם - אני חושב שזה חופשי להישאר שם במשך 48 שעות.

Stayed last night. Plenty of room. Felt safe. Water, toilets and play equipment for the kids. We did register with Council prior but there’s a QR code on board at entrance. No shops of any kind. Enjoy

It's really great that the town is so friendly and welcoming to campers. The site is very well-maintained and quiet, and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, there's no Telstra signal, but there are toilets and trash cans, plenty of picnic tables, and a BBQ. Be sure to reserve in advance.

Free but needs to be booked through Townsville council website. Flushing toilets, fires allowed, drinking water, playground, lots of covered seating, electric bbqs. It's a big space but very popular so still fairly full. Fishing from boat ramp next to camp site or head north along the beach to the gully. Crocs in area, very poor phone signal

We loved staying here! We stayed for two nights - you have to register with the Council however very limited reception on site so recommend doing before arrival :) no noise as its far off the highway big grassy area - might be more crowded on weekends
