Free powered sites, amazing, yes it just a car park but hey, for a stop over or even 2 nights ...walk thru to pub and foreshore...great little spot We had a meal at the pub.. great, modern.

מקום טוב מאוד לבלות את הלילה. גישה לחשמל, נקודת מים, קופסאות זבל, מקלחת ושירותים בחינם לשתי הלילות הראשונים. הקרקע היא שטוחה וחצאית, יש שולחן גינה קטן לאכול בחוץ. יש אפילו את האפשרות לשכור קיאק בחינם מן הטברנה. אני ממליץ 100%.

מקום כל כך יפה! הקמפינג הוא בחינם עבור 2 לילות הראשונים ואז 50 דולר ללילה לאחר מכן. היו להם שירותים, מקלחות חמות, מים לשתות ומקומות חשמליים בחינם! והפאב הוא 2 דקות הליכה וישר על האגם שהוא כל כך יפה. האנשים בפאב היו מאוד ידידותיים גם כן. היה בהחלט להישאר כאן שוב!!

Amazing free camping right in the middle of Lake Tyres. Perfect for backpackers and those on a budget. Go to the Lake Tyres Beach Tavern to ask for a spot and get directions. It’s basically a converted carpark. There are two toilet/shower rooms plus a few picnic tables and some small grassy patches to chill on. Short walk to the beach and the Tavern. Great little find - just don’t expect space or solitude!

What a great find! Free power and water. We had take a way diner from the pub. Directions on Campermate not completely accurate.

Great powered site and free for us as well! The previous comments describe what is there so I won’t repeat it. HOWEVER the site is wrongly marked on this app, it’s on the other side of the main road in the village. We’d recommend asking for directions in the pub!

This campsite was awesome. The campsite was free, we just popped into the tavern to let them know we were there. There was toilets and hot showers, A laundry room and a BBQ area. The tavern did good pizza and beers and next to the tavern was a coffee shop where we got breakfast in the morning served by the super friendly owner.
