The cyclone in March 2026 has hit the area badly, but they recovered pretty good. The water and electricity is produced on site, so conserve! (No air-con allowed). They even have a small pool and a small camp kitchen with BBQ and two gas burners but no utensils. All in all a good experience-a little pricey.

We had booked a night at this campsite and then unfortunately could not come because we had to drive south because of the cyclone and even later the streets were closed. After several contact for a refund came from the $60 only $10, which is a scam, because $50 would probably be a booking fee. All other campgrounds and activities have refunded us the full amount, especially since it is a situation that you can’t influence.
