Beautiful place

Now closed for Motorhomes as has Reserve status under Auckland Council’s new bylaws.

Very pretty bay !! Worth a detour. On 17/06 the campsite was closed. Clean shower and toilet.

Some hassle from local “warden”. Could get stuck when wet.

Note; the access is from grand view drive for vehicles ✌️

Wonderful location on grass field. Quiet and a handful of other motorhomes. Great takeaway in Leigh village. 2 nights max per month.

Very nice place to spend the night! The car park is a large expanse of grass, very pleasant when it is dry. Attention, the entry for the vehicles is done by Mattheson Bay Road! Toilets and cold shower nearby. Very quiet place.

Lovely beach with grass perfect for picnics :))

Swimming platform in the middle of the sheltered bay! Also the morning we camped here a mobile coffee truck set up shop. Not sure if that's an everyday thing or not... @studiokh
