This town is weird. Really dodgy. Just bad vibes as soon as I arrived and then turned around straight after arriving at this camp site. I’m a female solo traveler so gotta be more safe and no one else was there just one random normal car that didn’t look like someone camping in it.

Woken up at 2 AM by a car with its music blasting; the guy was drunk. Lots of noise because of the deer nearby. However, it's a very pretty spot, though the toilets smell really bad.

Very nice place, next to the river, clean long drop toilets. Everything seems nice and pretty, and we didnt want follow other commens opinions but. People are actually strange here. Cars driven by quite questionable individuals pass by, they slow down to check you out (like they are looking for something) and then drive away again and this happens very, very often, like every 15-30 minutes.

המקום הוא נהדר, יש שירותים, רשת ואתה ליד הנהר. פגשנו רק כמה משפחות ואנשים שהגיעו ללכת עם הכלבים שלהם.

בעצם אפשרות טובה, חופשית וממוקמת במרכז. עם זאת, נהגנו בחזרה לפני החושך כי היו הרבה דמויות מוזרות מסתובבות סביב חניה.

נוף נחמד על החוף, אבל המקום הוא יותר פארק כלבים עבור המקומיים. להיזהר באזור הדשא עבור כלבים sh**.

מקום יפה עם שקיעה פנטסטית. יש שירותים, אבל נייר טואלט היה ריק. למרבה הצער, צעירים נהגו שם במכוניות, הקשיבו למוזיקה על רמקולים חזקים ושתו אלכוהול. מאז זה לא נראה כאילו הם עוזבים בכל עת בקרוב ולא רצינו שום בעיה, עברנו לאתר במזכרת המלחמה, בושה אמיתית!

מקום נחמד, אחד נקי לא ריח ארוך טיפה! חניה על הדשא אז כרגע בריכה אבל הצליחו למצוא 1 מקום על חצאית קצת off road. Also definitely a boy racer turn around circle but they disappeared by 10pm so was okay.

Pretty decent spot right on the beach. We arrived late on a Tuesday after all of the other sites were closed/empty on the way up from Napier. There were 2 other campers, and a few people stopped in the evening to use the toilets but didn’t bother us, even turned off highbeams! Long drop toilets are fairly clean, although bring toilet paper as I didn’t see any. Only problem was nearby cows moo-ing ALL NIGHT LONG. It must be mating season!
