Great and quiet car park for freedom camping near the city centre. Only 7 places, we took the last one at 10 pm a sunday night. ~10-min walk for toilets but for note, all public toilets in this city close at 7 pm or before!!

חניה ממוקמת במרכז העיר. די קרוב לשירותים ציבוריים. שתי דקות ברכב, 10 דקות ברגל. וכמובן, יש תשלום מ 8:30 לפנות בוקר עד 5:30 לפנות בוקר להיות זהיר לא לישון.

שמח עם המיקום, גם אם זה היה חניה הרגשנו בטוחים גם מחנות אחרים שם.

זה היה בסדר! נשארתי כאן לילה אחד, כמו חמישה אחרים. ממש קל ללכת לעיר, רק חניה, אבל הרגשנו בטוחים מאוד. די רעש בבוקר, אנשים הולכים לעבודה וכו ', אבל זה בחינם אז לא יכול להתלונן! תודה פלמרסטון צפון! @tasmantravels

It does the job. Nothing special but a city parking, lot of places but not facilities. Start to be busy and a bit noisy after 8am but no one bothered us.

Ideal to park up for a night. No toilets but as you are self contained it's not an issue. Park at the Railway/Skate park if you want to be close to toilets. Close to town and everything you need in Palmerston North. Very lovely guys who work in their nearby buildings who don't seem to have issues with campers.

Would be a great spot if people with Caravans didn't park their cars in the spots for campers. Way to look out for your fellow travellers!
