Got there about 5.30 pm, 3 campers already there. You have to park between the signs, spaces for 4. We had to wait till the walkers moved their car to park in the last spot. Not flat. Very calm and no noise at night. Clean toilets and sink.

Wow! Great free campground! Just under the Mt. Manaia where the hike begins. Very quiet, you can hear kiwi there (I had no luck to see them). Felt safe as female solo traveler 😊

Loved This place! Basic with one loo but comfortable enough. Quiet and peaceful at the base of the hike. The club next door is so friendly and welcoming to visitors, we went in for drink and game of pool. Fish and chip shop 10 min walk away was decent too. Overall great free camp for one night

Parking in front of the Mount. Approx. 4 véhicules. Quiet and nice view. Toilets 24h/24h. Clean but no lights. Max 1 night stay. Nice pub near by.

מקום מגניב מאוד!! היינו לבד ללילה, לא ניסינו את הבר ליד אבל זה נראה מאוד ידידותי. שירותים נקיים ופתוחים כל הלילה, אין זבל יכול באתר. למחרת עשינו ההליכה על הר מאניה וזה היה מדהים! בקצרה: אתר נהדר להתחיל ההליכה שלך ahaha ונוף יפה

שקט מאוד, שום דבר על בפאב לידנו. מיקום מושלם אם אתה עושה את ההליכה העליון בבוקר. אין מפרשים מיועדים רק צריך להתאים את הרכבים בין שני סימנים. בקלות 3 מכוניות. שירותים באתר, נקי מאוד פתוח 24/7

We enjoyed this spot. It is closed to the road, cars passing by through the night didn't bother us at all. We were spoiled with euphonious sounds coming from the nearby club. Two picnic benches and clean toilets. Our stay here was concluded with a very scenic morning walk up Mt. Manaia.
