היה לי לשהות נהדר באחד היחידות של המוטל בסוף השבוע שעבר. החדר היה נוח מאוד, מתוכנן היטב ונקייה ללא פסוקים. מתקני הפארק החופשי הם מצוינים, בנוסף לחנות הכללית Whananaki הסמוכה מציעה ארוחת בוקר, ארוחת צהריים וארוחת ערב אופציות פנטסטיות. תחת הבעלות החדשה, הרבה שיפורים נעשים לפארק החופשה. וכמובן, Whananaki הוא רק גן עדן (מפורסם 'המקום הגדול ביותר בעולם!'. ממליץ מאוד להישאר כאן.

Friendly and well-maintained, everything clean. Beautiful location, beach within walking distance.

A great location, a pity the camp wasn't up to scratch. Shower and toilet block very unclean, only got a very quick lick about every 3rd day. Kitchen very dirty. Rubbish and recycling piled up outside women's amenities block. Such a shame as this could be a great wee camp. M&M.

Great little place to stay! Friendly lady on counter and very accommodating! Lovely clean toilets and shower (near new). Kitchen tidy and completely adequate. Little store out the front that has everything. Very close to walking bridge?. Recommend you give this place a go?

Meet by a very grumpy woman at Reception... Bordering on controlling.. Absolutely no people skills... Camp facilities adequet. So many rules as welll. .Camp personel hard to find ... We didn't feel welcome... Only if we had known of alternatives camp sites 10 mnts drive away.. We wouldn't go back..

I wouldn’t say 4 star but it’s nice enough. The bathroom facilities have obviously been done up and we’re nice and clean, 50c for a 4 minute shower and it was good and hot. Looks like there are people living in the camp full time but it was still quiet at night. On the Te Araroa trail so and next to the longest foot bridge in the Southern Hemisphere so if you are keen for some easy walking is a great location. Check in was a bit odd. The family running the camp don’t seem that ´happy’. No information given on check on about the facilities or local area just “park anywhere, have a nice day” Not even a smile. Seems odd to me

Lovely quiet spot to relax post Covid. Swimming pool undergoing upgrade. Facilities clean and tidy. Friendly management. Pay for 2nights 3rd night free through to December????

Nice place. The toilets are clean, a kitchen and trash cans are at your disposal. A beautiful view of the bay just a stone’s throw from your pitch?
