Great short loop along coastline and pastures, Sandymount top 360, Bridge and Chasm worth doing all
Lovers place closed. But I had nice track between a lot of yellow flowers and saw sea lions ? take the water with you - I forgot and the mandarin had to save me ?
Says the lovers chasm was closed June so we didn’t go. I’m sure doc website would say more
Beautiful tracks. The view point is amazing. The way down to sandflyb Bay is steep and on soft sand. Not an easy walk to get back, but worth it!
We took the sandfly bay track, it was very beautiful, but it's a sand's way, so a little bit hard. 1,5 hours return. You are going straight on the beach. Don't forget water!
3 walks are proposed from the car park. A 2km round trip, up to a point of view on Allans Beach, with a crossing of field of sheep. A second, 1 km round trip, a steep climb to access a 360-degree view, but a little hidden by vegetation. And a third to Sanfly Bay, announced 2km to go. Long gravel road to the parking lot
The coastal scenery from this track is stunning! Narrow metal road to car park was OK in our 6m camper. Not as popular as the track from Seal Point Road. Car park could be full in the afternoon but there’s room to turn around. Picnic tables with a great view at the car park.
The easiest way is from the carpak to left (1.2 km) just walking without sand
Don't go to the sandy bay from there. It is hard to find the way back
A short track across farmland (don't wear your sandals- sheep poop plentiful), lovers leap is very cool, couldn't see the chasm too well from the viewing platform but the walk itself is pleasant enough. The drive out across the peninsula is also nice.
