This is a very beautiful walk along the river. Do as much or as little as you like, we walked for 30 mins then turned back doing an hour in total. We did it on a hot sunny day and I would say over half of it is shaded by trees.

Very nice place to go! Why my renting a bike and make the round of the Lake Wanaka from the city centre to this outlet?! Good day in perspective when the weather is sunny and dry!
